Armenia to sign air communication agreements with Canada and Singapore

The Armenian government on Thursday approved the signing of air communication agreements with Canada and Singapore. According to the head of the Main Civil Aviation Department Sergey Avetisyan, the field of air communication between Armenia and these two countries is not regulated by government agreements.

YEREVAN, January 26. /ARKA/. The Armenian government on Thursday approved the signing of air communication agreements with Canada and Singapore. According to the head of the Main Civil Aviation Department Sergey Avetisyan, the field of air communication between Armenia and these two countries is not regulated by government agreements.
"The agreements are aimed at a complete legal regulation of relations between Armenia and Canada and Singapore. They will also ensure equal competitive conditions as they stem from Armenia’s "open skies" policy", said Avetisyan.
In a related development Sergey Avetisyan and Franco Pecci, the founder of the Italian Blue Panorama airline, discussed today in Yerevan expansion of geography of flights from Armenia to Europe. Pecci was quoted by the Main Civil Aviation Department as saying that his airline is ready to cooperate with Armenia, adding that this issue needs additional study.
In turn Avetisyan welcomed the interest of Italian colleagues in Armenian aviation market and also declared his readiness to establish cooperation. —0—
