Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Meets with Corporacion America to Enhance Zvartnots Airport Agreement

YEREVAN, April 16. /ARKA/. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan engaged in discussions with Martin Eurnekian, CEO of Corporacion America Airports, regarding the optimization of the concession agreement for Zvartnots Airport in Yerevan.
According to a statement from the Armenian government's press service, both parties acknowledged the significance of constructive negotiations for fostering future collaboration.
Grigoryan highlighted the critical nature of implementing Corporacion America's investment initiatives in vital sectors for Armenia.
The conversation also touched on the plans for the former building of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, situated on Republic Square, which was acquired by "Tango," a company owned by Eduard Eurnekian, in 2012 for its transformation into a hotel.
Yerevan International Airport, Zvartnots, has been managed by "Armenia - International Airports" CJSC under a 30-year concession agreement with the Armenian government since 2001. This company is also responsible for managing Gyumri's "Shirak" airport.
"Armenia - International Airports" CJSC is owned by Argentine American International Airports, led by Eduardo Eurnekian, who is an Argentine citizen of Armenian ancestry. -0-
