YEREVAN, June 17. /ARKA/. Retail clients of VTB (Armenia) continue to actively use the free transfer service to MIR cards of Russian recipients. Over the past six months, transfer volume has grown by 40%.
Developing its cross-border transfer service, VTB (Armenia) offers instant transfers to Russia using the card number via the mobile app and website most.vtb.am. This solution improves the speed and convenience of transactions.
The minimum transfer amount is 100 rubles, and the maximum is limited to the equivalent of 399,000 Armenian drams per transaction. Up to three transfers can be made from one card within 24 hours, up to the same limit.
"We launched the service last spring, targeting a broad audience, and we are already seeing consistently high demand." "It's especially popular among users with relatives, friends, or business partners in Russia, as well as among those who regularly visit the country and appreciate the ability to conveniently top up their card in rubles at a favorable rate. "The volume of transfers has grown by 40% over the past six months, demonstrating the active use of the service," commented Taras Kladchenko, Deputy CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB (Armenia).
The service's key advantages include no commission and a favorable exchange rate from Armenian drams to Russian rubles. The service is available 24/7, seven days a week, and transfers are completed almost instantly—on average, within one minute.
To send a transfer, go to the "Transfers" section on the bank's website, then select "Send to Russia." Next, go to the "By card number in Russia" tab, click the "Transfer" button, and proceed to the online transfer page. Fill in the sender and recipient information in the forms that open.
Detailed information about the service is available on the VTB (Armenia) website, at bank branches, or by calling the Contact Center at 87-87.
The activities of VTB Bank (Armenia) CJSC are regulated by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.
