Discussions about the future of business today go beyond mere forecasts for 2031; the development of artificial intelligence, new technologies, and the establishment of business connections have become key items on the current agenda.
YEREVAN, October 5. ARKA/. Discussions about the future of business today go beyond mere forecasts for 2031; the development of artificial intelligence, new technologies, and the establishment of business connections have become key items on the current agenda. These topics were discussed at the "BOLD Business 2031" event held in Yerevan, with Ameriabank serving as the general sponsor.
The event’s keynote speaker—entrepreneur, tech leader, and founder or co-founder of 13 IT companies David Yang—noted that the AI sector has undergone so much change in the last two years that "it feels like a hundred years have passed."

"There is no need to wait; you have to start now—seize opportunities that require minimal effort, implement small projects, achieve initial successes, and move forward," Yang said regarding the application of AI in business.
According to him, 62% of US companies with revenues exceeding $1 billion have already scaled AI-based automation to a production level.
Yang estimates that Armenia is also at the forefront of this process.
"Today, we conversed with AI in Armenian, and many are noting how fluently and naturally third-generation voice interaction technologies speak the language," Yang emphasized.
Digital solutions on the business agenda
Arman Barseghyan, a member of the Management Board and Director of Retail Banking at Ameriabank, noted that such platforms provide an opportunity to interact with representatives from various sectors and understand their needs.
"Above all, these platforms allow us to gather information, communicate, and align our offerings and solutions with our clients' needs," he emphasized. Barseghyan noted that the digital agenda is a priority for Ameriabank; beyond traditional financial services, the bank aims to meet client needs through modern digital solutions and platforms.

"We already have platforms that are actively used by businesses—most notably 'My Business,' which recently received a special award. Essentially, 'My Business' enables clients to access all core services—from account opening to POS terminals—virtually via an online platform," he remarked.
Networking for New Business Connections
Another key aspect of the event was the expansion of business connections and interaction among representatives of various business communities.
Organized by LinkedIn Local Yerevan, the event brought together business leaders, investors, representatives from government and international bodies, diplomats, and experts from educational institutions.

According to event co-organizer and BOLD Group co-founder Gor Karapetyan, the goal was to unite business communities from diverse sectors and create a platform for networking.
"Through our keynote speaker, we aim to provide practical insights into the future—helping entrepreneurs boost their personal brand visibility—while also creating a space for interaction," Karapetyan noted.
A networking session was also held during the event, giving around 50 attendees the opportunity to connect.
Emil Kroyan, co-founder of the BOLD Business Forum, noted that the event’s agenda focused on the changes, challenges, and opportunities awaiting the business world by 2031.

"What changes are unfolding, what modern businesses are preparing for regarding 2031, and what challenges and opportunities lie ahead—our entire agenda today is built around these themes," Kroyan said. According to him, this format enables participants to establish new business connections that could evolve into future collaborations and new business initiatives.
