YEREVAN, September 27. /ARKA/. Armenian customs officers prevented an attempt of smuggling about 300 mobile phones into the country, the press service of the State Revenue Committee said.

It said some 250 LG mobile phones were found by customs officers in a cache in a Mercedes Benz car at Bagratashen check point on the Armenian-Georgian border.

"Immediately after this the car driver admitted that he had another 48 phones hidden under the hood of the car", the State Revenue Committee said in a statement. -0--
