FlyOne Armenia resumes fights between Yerevan and Moscow

YEREVAN, March 1. /ARKA/. FlyOne Armenia airline has resumed regular direct flights between Moscow and Yerevan, the press service of the company reported.

It said flights will be operated from Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan to Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays.

FlyOne Armenia Board Chairman Board Aram Ananyan said the airline plans to increase the frequency and number of flights in the near future.

The airline said tickets and additional services can be purchased on its website at www.flyone.am or in a mobile application, as well as in the offices of all partner companies.

The first flights of the airline to Moscow scheduled for December 15, 2021, were cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances including concerns of the Russian authorities about the coronavirus epidemic.”

The airline was awarded the aircraft operator certificate at the end of October 2021 by the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia.

The company said earlier it had invested more than 60 million Euros in the Armenian market. The company's fleet consists of Airbus A320 aircrafts, which operate both scheduled and charter flights.

Each aircraft has 180 seats and meets all International Air Transport Association (IATA) and EASA safety standards.

Yerevan airport is the point from and to which it operates flights to Moscow, Tehran, Lyon, Paris, Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Krasnodar, Istanbul, and Tel Aviv. -0-
