The State Revenue Committee of Armenia (SRC) prevented the smuggling of 67 kg of medicines through the Bagratashen checkpoint on the border with Georgia.
YEREVAN, April 17. /ARKA/. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia (SRC) prevented the smuggling of 67 kg of medicines through the Bagratashen checkpoint on the border with Georgia.
Medicines were found in a car driven by V.A., who informed the customs officer that he did not have goods subject to declaration. However, upon visual inspection, it was noticed that the floor under the passenger seat was higher than usual.
Some of the drugs were hidden under the car mat. A deeper inspection revealed the rest of medicines hidden under the door trim, in a cache located under the rear seat.. Based on this fact, a protocol on violation of customs rules was drawn up. -0-
