VivaCell Armenian mobile operator renamed VivaCell-MTS

YEREVAN, September 5. /ARKA/. VivaCell Armenian mobile communication operator carried out co-branding of VivaCell and renamed it VivaCell-MTS, General Director of the company Ralf Yirikyan reported.

From now on the company will be combining VivaCell and VivaCell-MTS logos, he said at the opening of a new round-the-clock service center of the company in Yerevan.

Yirikyan said that co-branding will allow the company applying the extensive experience of the basic company – MTS - to the Armenian market.

In his turn, Vice-President of “MTS Zarubejniye docherniye kompaniyi” (MTS daughter companies abroad) business unit Oleg Raspopov made appraisal of professional skills and management experience of VivaCell staff. The results achieved by the company during this short period of time are impressive indeed, he said.

Mobile Telesystems open joint stock company (MTS) is the owner of VivaCell’s control stock and the biggest mobile operator in Russia and the CIS.

VicaCell provides coverage of all the territory of Armenia and has GSM 900/1800 standard license valid till the end of 2019. The company’s subscribers database had included 1.56mln people by the end of July this year. N.V. –0--
