The problem of traffic jams will be solved in Yerevan in near future, Chief of Traffic Police of Armenia Ishkhan Ishkhanian said at the government briefing.
YEREVAN, June 28. /ARKA/. The problem of traffic jams will be solved in Yerevan in near future, Chief of Traffic Police of Armenia Ishkhan Ishkhanian said at the government briefing.
Ishkhanian pointed out that all the possible efforts are made to eliminate illegal parking and settle the traffic problems occurred due to the mass construction in Yerevan.
The Yerevan Municipality envisages implementation of a number of capital projects, particularly construction of subways and pedestrian crossings at the crossroad of Vardanants-Khanjian, Nalbandian-Isahakian-Alek Manukian, at Miasnikian Ave., across the street from the Zoo.
Due to the construction of subways in the Armenian capital traffic has been cut off partly or completely at Khanjian st, at certain sections of Nalbandian str. Jams occur on streets of Abovian, Koriun, Isahakian, Tigran Mets, Khorenatsi, Agatangeghos. N.V. –0--
