Ameria group of companies has established in California, USA, Ameria Group Inc, Gagik Sahakian, Ameriabank’s corporate customers director, said today, explaining that the new organization will work to provide U.S. businesses with information about investment opportunities in Armenia, its legislation and encourage investments in the republic.
He said the main mission of the new organization will be providing multilateral, full and specialized information to entrepreneurs wishing to invest in Armenia or start here business projects. It will also provide information about the activities of Ameria Group of companies.Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan, who was in Los Angeles September 25, attended the presentation of Ameria Group Inc, together with Armenian officials, businessmen from Armenia and the Diaspora, Armenian community leaders and distinguished guests. Ameria Group was the sponsor of a gala dinner given in honor of the Armenian president.
The new organization intends to explain to the conservative part of the Diaspora in the U.S. and U.S. investors that Armenia is politically and economically is a risk-free country in terms of investments.
Armenia was one of the first former Soviet republics that adopted a legislation on protection of investments.
