Armenia sees 14.5% rise in copper concentrate production in January-July 2024
YEREVAN, September 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s copper concentrate production increased by 14.5% in the first seven months of 2024, totaling 172,937.4 tons, according to data from the National Statistical Committee.
In the same period, zinc concentrate production also saw an uptick, rising by 18.5% to 6,236.0 tons. However, molybdenum concentrate production declined sharply by 29.7%, amounting to 9,763.7 tons.
Additionally, the production of ferromolybdenum dropped significantly, down by 44.9%, with 2,658.8 tons produced.
