"Electric Networks of Armenia" paid subscribers 205 million drams as compensation for violations of standards

YEREVAN, May 15. /ARKA/. Head of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia Mesrop Mesropyan presented data on compensations paid to subscribers by companies in the field of public utilities in 2024.
"For violations of the requirements established by the network rules of the electricity distribution market, as well as the commercial rules of the retail electricity market, CJSC "Electric Networks of Armenia" paid 117 thousand subscribers compensation (penalties) in the total amount of 205 million drams," Mesropyan said in parliament.
According to him, for violations of the established requirements for gas supplies, the company "Gazprom Armenia" paid 5613 subscribers penalties in the amount of 4.8 million drams. "The water supply operator, Veolia Jur CJSC, paid 1,55 million drams in penalties to 1,028 subscribers for violating water supply and drainage requirements," Mesropyan reported. ($1 - 387.99 drams).
