YEREVAN, August 20. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced a new stage of reforms in the country and a return to the "velvet" revolution agenda in the current peace conditions.

"The peace and the new circumstances enable us to fully revisit the unfulfilled agenda of the non-violent, 'velvet' revolution of 2018," Pashinyan stated during a government meeting on Thursday.

He added, "The positive aspect is that throughout the crisis management of 2020, we never halted the progress of the reform agenda."

"I firmly believe that the ongoing processes reflect this; we possess the necessary institutional capabilities to continue advancing the revolutionary agenda at a steady pace," Pashinyan remarked.

The Prime Minister underscored the importance of revitalizing democratic, anti-corruption, and economic reforms, ensuring that all efforts are documented, while considering Armenia's advancements in the rankings of leading international organizations.-0-
