Some 918.6 million kWh of electricity was generated in Armenia in January 2025, which is 10.1% more than in January 2024, the National Statistical Committee reported.

YEREVAN, March 7. /ARKA/. Some 918.6 million kWh of electricity was generated in Armenia in January 2025, which is 10.1% more than in January 2024, the National Statistical Committee reported.

The Armenian nuclear power plant produced 36.6% of the total or 336.7 million kWh, an increase of 4.1%.

TPPs produced 325.7 mln kWh, 13.8% decrease. They accounted for 35.5% of the total, and HPPs (177.2 mln kWh, 81.5% increase) accounted for 19.3%.

Heliostations (share - 8.6%) produced 78.9 million kWh of electricity (2.3-fold growth), and wind farms (share - 0.02%) produced 0.1 million kWh (82.8% decline).-0-
