Wizz Air launches 8 new routes from Armenia and opens base

YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. Wizz Air is launching 8 new routes from Armenia from October 2025. This was stated by Wizz Air Hungary CEO, Roland Tischner, who is responsible for the company's operations in Armenia.
"From October 2025, flights will be launched that will connect Yerevan with Prague, Hamburg, Nice, Paphos, Naples, Bucharest, Bari and Memmingen. From October 1, 2025, Wizz Air will start operating a base in Armenia with two aircraft," Tischner said.
Prices for the new Yerevan routes start from 29.99 euros and reach 49.99 euros.
Answering a question from the ARKA news agency, Tischner said that the company is considering the possibility of further expanding the flight network. He added that the possibility of flights to Gyumri airport is also being considered.
Currently, Wizz Air planes fly from Yerevan to Abu Dhabi, Budapest, Vienna, Sofia, Milan, Dortmund, Larnaca, Rome, Venice. -0-
