Artsakh farmers shelled from Azerbaijani positions
YEREVAN, August 9. /ARKA/. Farmers in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) were shelled from Azerbaijani positions, the Artsakh Interior Ministry reported.
It said the incident was reported on August 9 at about 10:50 a.m. when civilians working in the wheat field of Sarushen community of Askeran region were shelled by Azerbaijani soldiers who used various types of firearms.
Azerbaijani combat positions are located in the administrative area of Sargsashen village of Martuni region. Fortunately, there were no casualties, the ministry said.
It said the front door windows of a Ford Transit car driven by A.G., who was engaged in agricultural work, were damaged by the shots. The agricultural work was stopped. The incident was reported to the Russian peacekeepers. -0-
