The Armenian emergency ministry received today reports about the damage inflicted by eddy wind.
YEREVAN, October 17. /ARKA/. The Armenian emergency ministry received today reports about the damage inflicted by eddy wind.
The wind extracted a tree throwing it on a section of Ijevan-Dilijan motor road. The ministry sent one unit of appropriate machinery with a crew to remove the tree from the road.
The same happened near Haghardzin Hotel near Dilijan. The crew cleaned the road.
Another alarming call came from Stepanavan, Lori province. Electricity transmission lines fell on a gas-conveying pipe in one of the city’s streets and ignited. Firefighters stifled the fire. --0---
