Servicemen shouldn’t be distanced from social life, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said.
YEREVAN, July 14. /ARKA/. Servicemen shouldn’t be distanced from social life, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said.
The premier accompanied by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and other members of the Government toured north-eastern border troops on Saturday.
The premier said that the army enjoys greater public confidence than other institutions in Armenia.
But the Government has still plenty to do in order to improve the army, he said.
Sargsyan said that everything must be done to prevent soldiers from abandoning their studies.
It is necessary to enable them to enroll in universities upon completing their military service.
“My and the defense minister’s objective is to create conditions enabling every soldier to learn”, the premier said.
He said that every military unit will have special rooms for that.-0-
