YEREVAN, August 13. /ARKA/. Speaker of the RA Parliament Tigran Torosyan made a decision on a special session of the RA Parliament at noon on August 19, 2008.

The Public Relations Department, RA Parliament reports that the special session will be held in conformity with Article 70 of the RA Constitution on the Government’s initiative.

The parliamentarians are to discuss a number of amendments to Armenia’s tax and customs laws, as well as a bill on water discharge from Lake Sevan for irrigation. P.T. –0--
