President of Cyprus Demetris Christofias is to pay an official visit to Armenia in 2009, Speaker of Cypriot House of Commons Marios Garoyan at a press conference held jointly with the Speaker of Armenian Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan Thursday.

Issue on mutual opening of embassies is to be discussed during the visit.
