Bulgaria intends to deepen its military cooperation with Armenia, Press Secretary of Armenian Defense Ministry colonel Seyran Shakhsuvarian reported referring to the message of Bulgarian Defense Minister Veselin Blizniakov to Armenian Defense Minister.
YEREVAN, July 3. /ARKA/. Bulgaria intends to deepen its military cooperation with Armenia, Press Secretary of Armenian Defense Ministry colonel Seyran Shakhsuvarian reported referring to the message of Bulgarian Defense Minister Veselin Blizniakov to Armenian Defense Minister delivered by the Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Stephan Dmitrov.
“The armed forces of the two countries have experience of long-year cooperation. I am confident that we will continue the joint work with you toward cooperation and building up of army for strengthening and expanding good traditions,” the message of Blizniakov said.
At his meeting with the Armenian Defense Minister the Bulgarian Ambassador pointed out that the newly appointed Military Attaché of Bulgaria is to arrive in Armenia in early September 2007.
Armenian Defense Minister Michael Harutiunian, in his turn, invited his Bulgarian counterpart to visit Armenia.
The sides also discussed the Karabakh peace process and regional security issues. N.V. –0--
