YEREVAN, March 3. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, speaking Thursday before members of the National Assembly, said authorities should identify faults and omissions and solve problems.
“We have adopted an effective style of working, and the president has repeatedly stated this also in the National Assembly,” he said.
The premier said that this style causes inconvenience to the opposition.
“Certain analytic and intellectual work is needed for identifying faults and presenting them to the community,” he said. “It has become clear that our opponents have no capacity to do it.
That’s why they resort to provocations. They impute us what we never said and start struggling these phenomena.”
As an example, Sargsyan pointed out the recent allegations that the premier had said that the country needs no domestic manufacturers and industry.
“This is absurdity and disrespectful treatment of our citizens, who heard very well the prime minister’s words.”
A day earlier, speaking before lawmakers, Sargsyan said that the government intended to work out an industrial policy and an export-promoting program, and that the economy ministry had already worked out a draft program, which is under discussion now.
The premier instructed all the ministers and heads of relevant agencies to unveil their programs and to be more active in presenting the state policy to people.
Sargsyan pointed out the necessity of detailed presentation the government’s 2011 program and top-priority objectives. -0-
