Deputy chairman of political party: announcements of the president of Armenia do not refer personally to the premier

President of Armenia did not criticize the work of the Prime Minister Tigran Sarsgayn, said deputy chairman of Republican Party of Armenia, head of parliament faction Galust Sahakyan.
YEREVAN, March 17. /ARKA/. President of Armenia did not criticize the work of the Prime Minister Tigran Sarsgayn, said deputy chairman of Republican Party of Armenia, head of parliament faction Galust Sahakyan.
President of Armenia is the head of Republican Party. The majority of the ministers and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan are members of the party. Recently the President had a number of meetings with the representatives of the government on the issues of economic policy and governors of the regions where he made remarks.
Sahakyan said that they regularly organize discussions of actual issues requiring solutions and they make remarks and critics. Such functions (remarks and critics) should be performed by opposition.
“But we perform both functions: we carry out decisions and criticize the actions. We would like the opposition to correspond to the classic concept and help the authorities with critics”, said Sahakyan.
The opposition should not think that the latest speeches and instructions of the President are not related to the list of requirements submitted in the last meeting of opposition and the authorities conceded. It is an ordinary working process and we overcome the consequences of global financial-economic crisis.
On March 1 meeting of Armenian National Congress, first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan required resignation of 10 high officials, including the Prime Minister Tigran Sarsgayn. He required to define minimum salary in the amount of 200 dollars, unemployment benefit – 100 dollars and average pension – 112 dollars. --0--
