Armenian Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan congratulated today the nation on Constitution Day.
YEREVAN, July 5. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan congratulated today the nation on Constitution Day.
“Armenian Constitution is the basic legal, political and ideological document of Armenian independent state that laid necessary ground for regulating all legal relations and determined the way for our state development”, the premier said in his national address.
Sargsyan stressed that the importance of the Constitution saying that it constitutes the basis for Armenian statehood and people welfare.
The PM said that the Constitution amendments make it possible to institute new laws and implement institutional reforms.
Armenian Constitution was adopted through the nationwide referendum conducted on July 5, 1995.
On November 27, 2005, the Constitution underwent amendment. M.V.-0---
