PM: Armenian government interested in expanding relations with Russia

Armenia’s Government is interested in expanding the Armenian-Russian relations in various spheres, including the military, said Armenian Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan during his meeting with Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.

YEREVAN, October 30. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Government is interested in expanding the Armenian-Russian relations in various spheres, including the military, said Armenian Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan during his meeting with Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.

“This cooperation comes from national interests of out country, and Armenia’s Government will do everything to expand and develop it,” the RA Government’s press services sited Sargsyan.

Serdyukov expressed confidence that his visit will become stimulus for deepening the Armenian-Russian military cooperation.

During the meeting they discussed issues of the regional security and stability.

Serdyukov arrived in Yerevan on a two-day visit. Within the visit he will meet with Armenia’s high-ranked authorities and will have bilateral negotiations with Defense Minister Mikayel Haroutiunian. L.M. –0--
