Turkey shows undisguised fear of international recognition of Armenian genocide
YEREVAN, November 26. /ARKA/. Turkey’s political and military elite shows undisguised fear of the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, Director of the Caucasian Institute of Mass Media Alexander Iskandaryan stated during the Yerevan-Moscow space bridge “New eastern question: Ankara and Yerevan under USA’s pressure”. The space bridge was organized by the RIA Novosti and Novosti-Armenia.
“On the one hand Turkey is implementing serious reforms aimed at successful admission to the European Union. On the other hand it is in fear of the process of recognition of the Armenian Genocide, ‘a train’ that is traveling round the world and is very difficult to stop,” he said.
The Armenian Genocide has been recognized by a number of countries, individual Governments and Parliaments. P.T. –0--
