Arman Saghatelyan appointed press secretary of Armenia’s president

Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan relieved Armen Arzumanyan from the post of presidential press secretary, the presidential press office reported.

YEREVAN, April 18. /ARKA/. Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan relieved Armen Arzumanyan from the post of presidential press secretary, the presidential press office reported.
Under another decree of the president, Arman Saghatelyan has been appointed to the post.
Arman Saghatelyan was born on August 26, 1975. He graduated from Armenian Agricultural Academy in 1992-1997 and completed his post-graduate studies at the country’s National Academy of Sciences in 2000.
In 1997-1999 he served his compulsory military service in the information department of the ministry of defense.
Saghatelyan worked as a civil expert on public relations in the ministry of defense in 2000-2004 and hosted a TV program Zinuzh (armed force).
In 2003-2004 Saghatelyan was advisor on public relations in Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. Later he headed the public relations section in the Fund.
Saghatelyan has lectured in the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University since 2001. He was director of ArmRadio FM 107 in 2011-2013.
He holds an associate’s degree in political science and authored over a dozen of science articles and educational programs.
Saghatelyan has been awarded with “participant of 1992-1994 military operations” and “Garegin Nzhdeh” medals. -0-
