Armenia and China discuss strategies for increasing tourist flows

YEREVAN, March 25. /ARKA/. Armenia and China are exploring new marketing initiatives aimed at boosting tourism between the two countries. This topic was discussed during a meeting between Lusine Gevorgyan, head of the Armenian Tourism Committee, and representatives of the Economic and Trade Office of the Chinese Embassy—Counselor Cai Chunying and Third Secretary Wu Tianyu.

As part of their cooperation, the parties agreed to exchange and share tourism promotional videos from both countries on social media, thereby increasing each other's tourism visibility, according to the press service of the Tourism Committee.

According to the National Statistical Committee, 32,823 tourists from China visited Armenia in 2024. The total number of tourists who visited Armenia last year was 2.2 million.
