The governments of Armenia and China signed an agreement on international road transport of passengers and cargo on Tuesday, the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia reported.
YEREVAN, September 22. /ARKA/. The governments of Armenia and China signed an agreement on international road transport of passengers and cargo on Tuesday, the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia reported.
Kristine Ghalechyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, signed the document on behalf of the Armenian government.
The ministry stated that the agreement regulates reliable and highly efficient international road transport between the two countries to foster the development of foreign trade ties.
Ghalechyan emphasized that the agreement represents another important step toward deepening cooperation between the two countries in the transport sector and strengthening their connectivity.
The ministry added that the signing of the agreement is also considered a significant step toward the practical implementation of the strategic partnership between Armenia and China.
