Armenia and India aim to deepen bilateral economic and business relations, as well as their political dialogue, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said today after India's newly appointed ambassador to Armenia Nilakshi Saha Sinha presented the copies of her credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

YEREVAN, April 10. /ARKA/. Armenia and India aim to deepen bilateral economic and business relations, as well as their political dialogue, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said today after India's newly appointed ambassador to Armenia Nilakshi Saha Sinha presented the copies of her credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

The interlocutors discussed prospects for the development of multifaceted Armenian-Indian relations, and exchanged views on ways to implement the ambitious bilateral agenda, the ministry said.

The minister and the ambassador noted with satisfaction the increasing dynamics of the political dialogue between Armenia and India, which has been fostered by the high-level reciprocal visits, as well as active and effective interaction at the international levels.

The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of India reaffirmed the readiness to undertake joint steps aimed at the fullest use of the potential of both countries in various spheres, including trade, economic and business relations, as well as scientific and educational spheres.  

It was stressed that the centuries-old friendly relations between the two peoples also create a favorable ground for the further development of inter-state partnership. -0-
