Armenia has 160 companies with French capital-fm Nalbandian

There are 160 companies with French capital operating in Armenia in banking, telecommunications, agro-industrial spheres, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said Tuesday at the meeting with his French counterpart Laurent Fabius.

YEREVAN, July 25./ARKA/. There are 160 companies with French capital operating in Armenia in banking, telecommunications, agro-industrial spheres, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said Tuesday at the meeting with his French counterpart Laurent Fabius.

“Today our both countries are involved into a political dialogue at a high level. There are broad legal field and intergovernmental decentralized intensive ties between our countries, and French investments to Armenian economy topped the second in the size,” the Foreign Ministry of Armenia quoted Nalbandian.

The Minister also mentioned active cultural and educational cooperation existing between the two countries. 

Thanking his colleague for a warm welcome Nalbandian highlighted that Armenia and France have some unique relations based on traditional friendship.
He added that the states have registered progress in diplomatic relations over the resent 20 years.

The ministers also discussed the steps towards the further development of the bilateral cooperation in different spheres. 

The sides expanded upon the global issues as well marking the same positions around some important world issues.

At the end of the meeting Armenian FM invited his colleague to visit Armenia. —0--
