Armenia interested in both European and Eurasian integrations, vice-speaker says

Both European and Eurasian integrations are important to Armenia, vice-speaker of Armenian parliament Edward Sharmazanov said at his meeting with members of parliaments and political analysts from Baltic countries.
YEREVAN, April 13. /ARKA/. Both European and Eurasian integrations are important to Armenia, vice-speaker of Armenian parliament Edward Sharmazanov said at his meeting with members of parliaments and political analysts from Baltic countries.
Baltic countries’ vast experience in integration may be useful to Armenia, Sharmazanov said.
Deputy of Latvian parliament Nikolay Kabanov, in his turn, said that there are preconditions in Armenia for joint programs on higher education and tourism.
The MP also pointed out the great potential for expanding trade between Armenia and Baltic countries.
Sharmazanov, who is leading Armenian parliament group for friendship with Baltic countries, expressed his readiness to support any cooperation and integration program.
The delegation of parliament deputies and political analysts from Baltic countries was in Yerevan to participate in “Armenia: geopolitical and integration prospects” conference. -0-
