Armenia’s National Assembly has postponed the Tuesday hearing on Giumry killings and legal issues involved, the parliament press office reported.
YEREVAN, January 20. /ARKA/. Armenia’s National Assembly has postponed the Tuesday hearing on Giumry killings and legal issues involved, the parliament press office reported.
The parliament committee for state and legal matters decided to put off the hearing, after the death of the six-month Serezha Avetisyan, the only survivor from an Armenian family of six in Gyumri who were shot and killed by a Russian military base soldier.
On January 12, a family of six was killed in Giumry, near the place where the Russian military base N 102 is deployed. The only survivor six-month Serezha Avetisyan died in hospital yesterday. Russian conscript Valery Permyakov suspected of the killings was detained last Tuesday and admitted to the killings. –0--
