YEREVAN, October 21. /ARKA/. Due to its geographical location and the opportunities it offers, Armenia serves as a natural bridge to the EAEU market for Iran, stated Armenian Ambassador to Iran Arsen Avakyan.
"Robust bilateral economic cooperation between Armenia and Iran is also an important catalyst for multilateral cooperation," emphasized Avakyan, in an interview with the Iranian news agency "ISNA ".
"Our government welcomes both the signing of a free trade agreement between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and Iran in 2023, as well as Iran's high-level participation in the Eurasian Economic Forum held in Yerevan from September 30 to October 1," the ambassador noted.
