YEREVAN, August 5. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has begun discussing its draft executive program for 2026–2031. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

According to the government's press service, the participants discussed the program's priorities, expected targets in various areas, planned activities, and other issues. Department heads presented their proposals and comments.

Pashinyan instructed that the draft be finalized as soon as possible. Following government approval, the document will be submitted to the National Assembly of the 9th convocation, which was formed following the regular elections on June 7, 2026, and began its work on August 2.

The government program is the main document defining the executive branch's priorities for the next five years. Its contents have not yet been made public.
