YEREVAN, April 24. /ARКА/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan condemns the burning of the flags of Turkey and Azerbaijan at the torchlight procession held in Yerevan yesterday on the eve of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire. This was reported by his press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

"Prime Minister Pashinyan condemns such a practice, considering it irresponsible and unacceptable. Burning the flags of an internationally recognized state, especially neighboring states, cannot be viewed differently by the head of state. This is a provocative and inflammatory practice," Baghdasaryan said in a comment to the Armenpress agency.

She added that at the same time, Prime Minister Pashinyan condemns the shelling of a residential building in the village of Khoznavar in the Syunik region by the Azerbaijani armed forces, the violation of the ceasefire by the Azerbaijani armed forces, and calls on the Azerbaijani authorities to investigate these incidents and provide clarifications.
