YEREVAN, August 31. /ARKA/. A forum featuring representatives of the Armenian and Turkish business communities will begin on September 3 in Yerevan, the press service of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia (UIEA) reported.

The two-day forum is being organized within the framework of the EU-funded "Support to the Armenian-Turkish Settlement: Strengthening Cross-Border Ties" program.

"The goal of the forum is to bring together business and government representatives from Armenia and Turkey to discuss opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries, identify new areas and formats for mutual partnership, and stimulate the formation of new business ties," the statement reads.

The event will bring together representatives from a range of sectors, including tourism, high technology, transport communications, trade, and healthcare, as well as government officials from Armenia and Turkey.

Discussions and meetings are planned on the potential of bilateral economic cooperation, the development of business ties, and opportunities for cross-border partnership.
