YEREVAN, August 22. /ARKA/. Armenia’s ambassador to Ukraine Andranik Manukyan has tendered a resignation application, saying in a statement that his previous requests to resign had been declined by the country’s president. His latest request was sent to Yerevan in May. Manukyan served in that capacity two full terms.
"The thing is that the situation in Armenia has changed radically and I believe that younger diplomats should be provided with opportunities to rise and fulfill themselves. I hope that this time my request will be satisfied," Manukyan said.
