Armenian, Belarus Presidents discuss bilateral relationship

During a working visit to southern Russian city of Sochi Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting with counterpart from Belarus Alexander Lukasehnko to discuss prospects of bilateral relationship following Armenia’s announcement that it will join the Customs Union, Sargsyan’s press office said, adding that the two men discussed also how Belarus could support the process of Armenia’s accession to the union.

During a working visit to southern Russian city of Sochi Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting with counterpart from Belarus Alexander Lukasehnko to discuss prospects of bilateral relationship following Armenia’s announcement that it will join the Customs Union, Sargsyan’s press office said, adding that the two men discussed also how Belarus could support the process of Armenia’s accession to the union.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of a regular session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization,
The two presidents were said to have stated that frequent meetings at the highest level, as well as close cooperation of government agencies of the two countries significantly contribute to the expansion of the interstate agenda.
The two sides also noted with satisfaction that part of agreements reached during Lukasehnko’s visit to Armenia several months ago, have already been implemented, while the other part is in the process of implementation. -0-
