YEREVAN, November 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Ministry has confirmed today that an agreement was reached that Armenian and Azerbaijani border delimitation commissions will meet November 30.

"According to a preliminary agreement, a regular meeting (of border delimitation commissions) will be held on November 30 on the state border of the Republic of Armenia and Azerbaijani Republic," Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan said today.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday that Yerevan had proposed Baku to hold a meeting of border delimitation commissions on the state border between the two countries.

"The Armenian side, reaffirming once again its political will to make efforts to normalize relations with Azerbaijan and establish peace and stability in the South Caucasus, handed over the 6th (draft) edition of the peace agreement to the Azerbaijani side on November 21," the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on November 22.

Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the main principles of the peace agreement with Azerbaijan had been agreed upon.

The first principle, he said, is that Armenia and Azerbaijan mutually recognize each other's territorial integrity of 28,600 square kilometers and 86,600 square kilometers respectively.

The second principle is that the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration, which was signed by all post-Soviet countries, should serve as a political basis for demarcation and delimitation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the third principle is that regional communications should be reopened according to the principles of equality, mutual respect for sovereignty and jurisdiction of the sides. -0-
