YEREVAN, January 11. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated today Gabriel Attal on his appointment as French Prime Minister and invited him to Armenia.

"I warmly congratulate you on your appointment as Prime Minister of the French Republic and wish you success in your high mission," Pashinyan's letter to Attal reads, the Armenian government's press service reported.

Pashinyan noted that Armenia highly appreciates France's important and consistent efforts in the process of overcoming geopolitical challenges facing Armenia.

"I deeply appreciate your constant attention to issues related to Armenia and your warm friendly attitude towards the Armenian people. I look forward to receiving you in Armenia on an official visit, which will give an important impetus to the existing commitments to expand our bilateral cooperation at the highest level," the message reads. --0--
