Armenian president set to visit Turkmenistan

YEREVAN, April 7. / ARKA /. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is leaving today evening for Turkmenistan, his press service reported.

It said after a meeting with his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, the two countries’ delegations will continue the talks in the enlarged format. The two sides are expected to sign several cooperation agreements.

On April 9, the Armenian President will leave the capital city of Ashgabat for Turkmenbashi, where he and his Turkmen counterpart will be present at an Armenian -Turkmen concert.

The Turkmen capital will also host an Armenian- Turkmen business forum to be aimed at expansion and development of bilateral trade and economic ties. -0-
