Artsakh State Minister proposes that Russia and other actors organize meeting with Azerbaijani side in safe place

YEREVAN, August 28. /ARKA/. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan appealed to Russia and all interested international actors to organize a meeting with the Azerbaijani side to discuss security issues around Artsakh.

"Since no one can guarantee the physical safety of our citizens on the territory of Azerbaijan, this meeting can take place at the location of the Russian peacekeeping forces or any other safe place - with the participation of a third party," Nersisyan said, speaking via video message.

He said he is confident that the Russian Federation is able to organize such a meeting to discuss the current situation.

"For more than 8 months almost everyone has been watching what is happening in Artsakh as a spectator. There is an impression that everyone is waiting for the same thing - for the Artsakh people to humble as soon as possible," Nersisyan noted.

According to the state minister, in the current situation it is necessary to clarify the goals and move on to concrete steps and actions. -0-
