CSTO chief arrives in Armenia

The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas will be visiting Armenia on December 22-24 to meet with the country's top political and military leadership and discuss the situation in the CSTO area of responsibility, the organization's spokesman Vladimir Zaynetdinov said.

YEREVAN, December 20. /ARKA/. The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas will be visiting Armenia on December 22-24 to meet with the country's top political and military leadership and discuss the situation in the CSTO area of responsibility, the organization's spokesman Vladimir Zaynetdinov said.

He said in Armenia Zas will meet also with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the rotating chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council to submit for his approval the draft CSTO Action Plan for the implementation of CSTO decisions.

Zas is also expected to hold talks with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan.

CSTO members are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. -0-
