EEU gathering in Yerevan postponed

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will arrive in Armenia on April 7, however a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union's (EEU) governing body, scheduled for April 7-8 in Yerevan, has been postponed, Armenian deputy minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said today.
YEREVAN, April 6. /ARKA/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will arrive in Armenia on April 7, however a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union's (EEU) governing body, scheduled for April 7-8 in Yerevan, has been postponed, Armenian deputy minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said today.
Originally, Medvedev was to take part in the Yerevan gathering, which, according to Kocharyan, was postponed at the request of an EEU member state.
It was reported earlier that the summit in Yerevan had been canceled as it could be regarded as a support for one of the parties to the Karabakh conflict.
The meeting of heads of governments of the Eurasian Economic Union will take place on April 13. After visiting Armenia Medvedev will head then for Azerbaijan.-0-
