Lavrov: decision on Armenia’s membership in customs union already made

Moscow hopes that all the members of the Customs Union will support Yerevan’s decision to join it, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today after Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan unveiled this decision as met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Moscow.

YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. Moscow hopes that all the members of the Customs Union will support Yerevan’s decision to join it, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today after Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan unveiled this decision as met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Moscow.
“The Custom Union’s procedures are taking force – address to the three Custom Union founder countries and to the Eurasian Economic Commission, and the subject of these negotiations is quite technical, but political decision was made in Armenia and Russia,” Novosti-Armenia quoted Lavrov referring to RIA Novosti. ---0----
