Mirzoyan and Kallas discussed the vision of Armenia-EU cooperation

YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and European Omission President, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas discussed the vision and prospects of deepening the partnership between Armenia and the EU, as well as joint efforts to expand cooperation in specific areas.
At the meeting held in Brussels, the Armenian Minister emphasized that the partnership between Armenia and the EU is based on the fundamental principles of democracy and peace, and tangible results have been achieved through joint efforts. The sides touched upon the upcoming high-level contacts and their agenda, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
Mirzoyan and Kallas exchanged views on international and regional developments, emphasizing the importance of developing strong partnerships sharing common values in the current uncertain period.
In the context of efforts to establish peace in the South Caucasus, the key role of signing a peace agreement and establishing interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan was emphasized.-0-
