YEREVAN, June 2. /ARKA/. During a telephone conversation on Tuesday, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos discussed mechanisms for stimulating the economic component of the Armenia-EU partnership, including increasing trade turnover.
According to the Foreign Ministry's press service, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of the Armenia-EU partnership.
They discussed programs for developing regional connectivity, as well as cooperation to further strengthen democratic resilience, as part of the Armenia-EU strategic agenda.
According to the Armstat, foreign trade turnover between Armenia and the EU amounted to $763.2 million in the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 54.3% compared to the same period in 2025.
