The Russian capital Moscow will host April 17 a conference entitled "Crime without statute of limitations: the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire,э the Moscow-based CIS Institute said.

YEREVAN, April 14. / ARKA /. The Russian capital Moscow will host April 17 a conference entitled "Crime without statute of limitations: the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire,э the Moscow-based CIS Institute said.
"The national tragedy of the Armenian people, recognized by its contemporaries as a "crime against humanity", opened a string of gruesome atrocities of the XXth century, to which the statute of limitations does not apply. The State Duma of the Russian Federation condemned the Armenian Genocide in 1915-1922 and recognized April 24 as еру Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Genocide, "the Institute said in a statement.
The conference is a joint effort of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Union of Armenians of Russia and the CIS Institute (Institute of Diaspora and Integration). The venue is President Hotel.
The conference will be attended by the secretary of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Alexander Brechalov, еру president of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamian, еру director of the CIS Institute Konstantin Zatulin, the Armenian ambassador to Russia Oleg Yesayan, deputies of the State Duma and the Federation Council, members of the Public Chamber, historians and journalists .-- 0--
