Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ombudsman Yuri Hayrapetyan has submitted his resignation, his office reports on its official page in Fecebook.
YEREVAN, April 29. /ARKA/. Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ombudsman Yuri Hayrapetyan has submitted his resignation, his office reports on its official page in Fecebook.
Hayrapetyan reportedly intended to quit office yet in the beginning of this year, but delayed his resignation for he was completing his 2015 activity report.
«The ombudsman is thanking all his colleagues for joint work and expressing hope that human rights and fundamental freedoms will remain to priorities and their protection key obligations of the government and the society,» the report says.
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic's ombudsman office started functioning in May 2008, and Hayrapetyan began working here on April 16, 2008. In August 2009, he became a member of European Ombudsman Institute. --0---
